‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down’ - Deepdale Invincible Launch Night
After a speculative sale at the pre-season friendly at Crewe, there was a solid turn out for the official launch of Deepdale Invincible at the Tithebarn Pub on Thursday 7th August.
In attendance were the Deepdalettes (who spent time autographing centrefolds for adoring fans), members of the PNE fans team and contributors such as Lech Walesa as well as freelance sports journalist James Gordon.
With drinks having been kindly discounted, a good time was had by all and the Editor was even roped into doing a hilarious Karaoke duet with one of the Deepdalettes to the ‘Dirty Dancing’ theme ‘Time of My Life’.
However, the real star was Peter ‘Dwight’ Heaps with his rendition of the Elton John classic ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down’.
Remember, drinks are discounted at the Tithebarn with a MYPNE Card every match day so why not pop in for a few pre-match or celebrate a Preston victory in there.
The fanzine can be bought outside every ground that Preston North End play, at the National Football Museum, some local pubs and also via mail order through this site.
